Authors listed have a larger amount of titles in the regency era. A majority of them have written historical romance titles of other eras as well.

Mary BaloghShe has penned many excellent historical novels. Her Regencies blend strong characters, humor and action, making her stories a pleasure to read. Her newest series introduces the Bedwyn family starting with a prequel, A Summer to Remember, following with the Simply series
Jane FeatherPrimarily a historical romance author of other eras than Regency, her racy Regencies include Vixen, Valentine, and Valentine's Wedding.Also writes mysteries as Claudia Bishop.
Georgette HeyerThe Queen of all Regency romances. Her Regencies created the genre we know and love today. One of her best known works is Arabella.
Eloisa JamesRegencies with a new spin and not always focused on the debutante. Humorous, witty and sensual, her books include the Pleasure series.
